About Lipsticks and Sports

Paying homage to my favourite lipstick, Lady Danger, and my passion for the art of basketball, I have decided to change the direction of my blog and focus on the two. Strange combination? Perhaps. As a woman and a novice, yet intense and passionate fan for the game I feel that I can share and express a very different perspective on the game while sporting a killer lipstick.

For the past ten years, I have always loved and appreciated the art of make up. I never perceived make-up as a mask to hide insecurities or make you look fake, or any of the negative connotations associated with it, particularly when it comes to image-based issues. To me, make-up has always been about creativity and accentuating your natural features, which is not particularly a bad thing. If make-up is not your thing, that's cool too, but it doesn't make those who choose to wear it any less prettier. The most important thing is that beauty comes from within and that you do it for yourself. As cliche as that sounds, cliches are what make the universe go round :D

I am excited to see where this adventure takes me, an adventure where I can pursue my creative interests with make up and insights into sports and share them with others.
